My Story

Born and raised in the Midwest, I made a quick trip to Phoenix Arizona after college that turned into 31 years. In 2000, I met my very handsome husband Larry and we have been married 23 years. As the “Grams” of two wonderful grandsons, I occasionally forget that we have two grown children and a great son-in-law, who we consider one of our children!

After several years in the administrative field, I decided to pursue my dream of entrepreneurship. I operated a financial services firm for six years and after the death of my father, had a change in career paths. In 2010 we created After The Fact - Final Affairs, which focused on helping Personal Representatives and Executors close out the many non-legal details of an estate. After six wonderful years of serving this demographic, we decided to make a big life change.

In 2017, we relocated to beautiful Eugene, OR (go DUCKS) where we enjoy four seasons, rain, rivers, rain, road trips, rain and live on a street where we know all of our neighbors. Did I mention we like rain?  This has been an amazing move for us and we still get so excited every time it rains!

Currently, I’m proud to be the Philanthropy Assistant for the Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation, teaming up with fellow kindred spirits who share my passion for all things charitable. It is an honor to work with an amazing team, wonderful philanthropic donors, great caregivers and the many amazing people who bring the Peace Health mission to life.

Away from work, you will find me volunteering, meeting with church groups, tackling DIY projects, organizing anything I can get my hands on, or creating the next great craft project in my she-shed with my oldest grandson. Who knows, we may be the next Chihuly!
